What is LPG endermologie?

This FDA approved non-invasive treatment for cellulite and body contouring is widely available throughout the slimming industry. It uses an applicator with patented suction and motorised rollers to effectively “massage” away cellulite and stubborn fats.

We are using the latest medical version of the machine, which is more powerful and effective than the commonly found salon type ones.

What are the benefits of LPG?

How does it work?

The treatment head is equipped with two rollers, both motorised, which kneads and massage the tissues. Between the rollers is a suction chamber that applies a variable ‘aspiration’ to this tissue fold, increasing the blood supply to the area. As the treatment sessions progress, the skin becomes more supple and elastic, causing the rollers to adapt and reach increasingly deep layers. Endermologie improves the circulation by increasing blood and oxygen flow to the cellulite tissues and thereby accelerating the drainage of the stagnant waste products. The metabolism of the fat cells is improved, encouraging them to lose some of their contents and thus shrink in size.

How long does it take?

The course involves a minimum of fourteen to twenty treatment sessions of 35 to 45 minutes duration.

What should I do before and after treatment?

You must drink plenty of water and exercise in order to eliminate the toxins that have been released during the treatments.

Is the procedure painful?

Endermologie is a non-invasive treatment that does not involve the use of medical procedures or the use of chemical substances. With the possibility to change the treatment intensity, you will not feel pain. Most patients find it relaxing, similar to a deep massage experience. You will feel a vibration as the skin flexes and followed by a tingling and warming of the area, caused by the increase in blood flow as the rollers glide over the body.

Are there any side effects?

Patients with sensitive skin may experience slight bruising of the treated area due to the ‘rolling’ and ‘aspiration’ action of the machine on the skin.

How many sessions will I need?

It depends on each patient. This will be discussed at your initial consultation and will be reviewed during the course of the treatment. Ideally, an initial course of 14 treatments is recommended, with a maintenance program of 1 session every 4 weeks.

Will you treat a specific are or is it an all over treatment?

Your specific needs and any problem areas to be targeted will be discussed during consultation. However, it is imperative to have a whole body treatment each session to achieve the greatest possible result.

Is this treatment just for women?

Definitely NOT – this treatment is for both men and women. Men who wish to keep their skin firm and elastic, get rid of stubborn fats or love handles can opt for this treatment too.

What can I expect after the treatment?

Directly after the treatment, you may need to visit the bathroom as your system is starting to rid itself of toxins, fat deposits and excess fluid. Don’t worry, this is a good sign as it shows the treatment is working!

Results vary from patient to patient, but it can be said that the results are visible after six to eight sessions.
